What You Will Need

1 lb. fresh asparagus, trimmed
1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
7.6 oz. Yancey's Fancy Bergenost® or Smoked Gouda (sliced)
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Honey and sliced almonds for drizzling/topping

What To Do

1. Prep pastry: Roll out puff pastry and cut into 6-8 squares.
2. Bundle: Place a slice of cheese and 3-4 asparagus spears diagonally across each square.
3. Wrap: Fold two opposite corners of the pastry over the asparagus and pinch to seal.
4. Bake: Brush with egg wash and bake at 400°F for 15-18 minutes until puffed and golden.
5. Finish: Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with toasted almonds while warm.
