Take a bite into a burger built with the creeping heat of roasted poblano peppers and a thick layer of Hatch Chile Cheddar spread.

What You Will Need

4 (6-8 oz) burger patties (or alternative)
(8) 2 oz portions Yancey's Fancy Hatch Chile Cheddar Cheese Spread
2-3 poblano peppers
4 slices American cheese
Jar dill pickle chips
4 burger buns

What To Do

1. Prepare outdoor grill or indoor cooking surface; grill should be hot.
2. Roast poblano peppers over an open flame until charred on all sides. Place in a bowl and cover with plastic wrap for a few minutes; then remove skins, seeds, and ribs. Cut into 1/2-inch strips.
3. Season patties with salt and pepper. Place on hottest part of grill and cook at least 3 minutes before flipping.
4. Melt American cheese on burgers and remove from grill.
5. Assemble: Gently toast buns. Spread 2-3 oz Hatch Chile Cheddar Spread on the bottom bun; build with the patty, pickles, and roasted peppers.
6. Serve with fries or salad.
